Well, this image is showing where the bombings took place, just mere meters from one another.
At the moment it's being informed that it was a suicidal attack, but still no faction is claiming the action as their own. At the moment I'm not sure of what is really going on, since most of people reacts naturally blaming this on religion. Personally I think it was a completely economy-driven attack.
As most eastern countries, Indonesian economy was rising, contrary to what's happening to us, western territories. I can only think, I don't assure anything, but these attacks weaken Jakarta's main income at this time of the year that is tourism. As most of people knew, Manchester Utd. was to make a tour in the zone (starting on Saturday), that would include a few games against the bests of local teams. Now, with the games and all the marketing surrounding the visit being canceled, the city and its wide-array of markets are now affected negatively.
And from the human point of view, it's just another calamity we have to find a way to stop happening ALL OVER the world, no matter the location nor the alignment of the victims and the perpetrators, it's brutality, no matter what.
